This title is printed to order. This book may have been self-published. If so, we cannot guarantee the quality of the content. In the main most books will have gone through the editing process however some may not. We therefore suggest that you be aware of this before ordering this book. If in doubt check either the author or publisher’s details as we are unable to accept any returns unless they are faulty. Please contact us if you have any questions.
The text covers the principles of feedback circuits before op amps, but it is organized in such a way as to allow op amps to be covered first if required. A knowledge of elementary circuit theory is assumed and an understanding of basic transistor circuits would be useful for some of the feedback circuit examples. The principal feature of the second edition is a new chapter devoted to further feedback applications, featuring more op amp circuits, a design example showing how to solve a feedback problem and a non-electronic application establishing a link with automatic control. In addition the author has included a brief appendix on J-notation to make the text more self-contained. In keeping with the other books in the series this book has marginal notes to expand the main text, worked examples that illustrate theory and applications, problems (with answers) graded according to difficulty at the ends of chapters, and clear cross-referencing to other titles in the series where appropriate.
