Every psychotherapist needs supervision, not only in the early years, but throughout his or her career. This book describes a coherent, comprehensive model of psychotherapy supervision, with an emphasis on pragmatics, process, ethics, and gender and cultural influences. The four dimensions described are: ideology, roles of the therapist, self of the therapist, and methodology of the therapist.
