This Old Souse

On a trip to Renie’s old neighborhood, she and cousin Judith can’t help snooping around a spooky old house that Renie remembered from her junior high school days. But though it always looked abandoned, it’s actually the home of a Mr. and Mrs. Bland, the owners since 1947.

But Renie isn’t convinced. After cornering the mailman and milkman, the cousins learn that, though the Blands receive regular mail and food deliveries, no one has ever seen them. And the bills are paid with cash left in the milkbox. And while she’s intrigued by the strange, yet seemingly harmless mystery, Judith knows it’s time to pay attention to her neglected husband, Joe, and their busy B&B.
