Urban Resettlements in the Global South: Lived Experiences of Housing and Infrastructure between Displacement and Relocation

Through the unique conceptualisation of ‘urban resettlement’, the book is a first attempt to conceptualise ‘resettlement’ in urban studies not only as an important dimension of ordinary city lives but also as a tool of government (for populations and places).

The book will offer an interesting range of contributions combining destruction and production of urban space in the context of urban development.
