This customary for the Daily Office, as found in the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, provides an easy step-by-step guide for engaging in daily prayer & devotion. The customary also includes cross-references to the 1982 Hymnal for chanting all sung parts of the liturgy, and there is a seasonal arrangement for canticles and hymns. The Scripture readings lists for each week follow the Daily Office Lectionary as printed in the back of the 1979 Book of Common Prayer.
