Red Flag Day is a collection of survival stories written by students at Central Valley High School in response to the Carr and Delta Fires of 2018. This collection honors our community's strength, courage, and will to survive in the face of utter destruction. We have lost so much, but in the aftermath of the firestorm, our community has come together to rebuild even stronger than before. While this crisis has passed, we still need to communicate, to cooperate, to care about one another, and this book was created in the spirit of those noble aspirations.
