This is the third book in The Hidden World of Wysteria Series, although it can be read independently or as part of the series. Aleka is a young woman living in New England who has become homeless after losing her family and friends in a disastrous hurricane which rips through her town. Aleka has many secrets within her, and one of them is her companion Edgar who no one else can see. He loves her unconditionally and takes her to a new world of willows, rain, and stars.There they meet beings who practice magick, and learn their ways of innate joy and creation. They befriend trees and the rain, and are given a castle to live in that is all their own surrounded by a garden. Still, there is sadness within Aleka's heart, and they must travel to meet those she lost in the hurricane. Beneath Rain and Stars is a Gothic fantasy romance about two unique beings who left society behind to wander through worlds beyond the stars.
