Chapters 4, 5, and 6 deal with aircraft metals--their properties and treatment. In chapter 7 the various types of aircraft fasteners are described and listed, and their use is discussed. Two chapters, then, are devoted to repair and inspection, and the remaining chapters deal with nonmetallic materials, welding, hydraulics and publications respectively.
