Dans cet ouvrage,nous allons dans un premier temps, etudier le profil general des etudiants africains presents a Leningrad au debut des annees 1960, analyser leurs pays de provenance et la diversite de ce groupe. Puis, dans un deuxieme temps, nous allons etudier deux aspects importants de leur adaptation a la vie quotidienne en Union Sovietique : l'apprentissage de la langue russe et leur cohabitation avec les autres etudiants sovietiques.
