Another Day at the Bus Stop

This is a modern retelling of the story of the woman at the well from John 4. A woman of the evening meets a stranger at a bus stop, who not only shows her kindness, but even asks for a sip of her Coke. She is unaccustomed to being treated as a person, but the stranger amazes her even more by claiming to be Jesus. Though she is skeptical, his ability to sympathetically describe so many details about her life convinces her he’s real-and as he leaves, she haltingly expresses her desire to talk with him again.
