All I Want for Christmas

This sketch examines the difficulty people have in restraining their material desires. The setting is a shopping mall at Christmas time. Parents are trying to convince their daughter that adding a 7th Barbie doll to her collection isn’t necessary. Through a brief series of events’ she ends up talking to two other adults, and ironically’ she’s able to poignantly explain how she’s trying to be less greedy. The topics are: Greed, and Desire to Acquire Possessions. The characters: 3 males, 2 females, and 1 female child. The participants are 6 and the author is Judson Poling.
