Over 4 million Americans suffer from Alzhiemer’s disease, which is an organic disorder that is progressive, debilitating and irreversible. The economic cost of treating and providing care for those with Alzheimer’s is over $40 billion a year. The emotional cost to the sufferers and their families is beyond estimation.
