Henry Warren Beatty, born on March 30th, 1937, Richmond, Virginia, US, is an actor and filmmaker. He's been nominated for 14 Academy Awards, 4 for Best Actor, 4 for Best Picture, 2 for Best Director, 3 for Original Screenplay, and one for Adapted Screenplay, having won Best Director for Reds (1981). Beatty is one of only 2 people to have been nominated for acting in, directing, writing, and producing the same movie, along with Orson Welles for Citizen Kane, having done so twice: first for Heaven Can Wait, with Buck Henry as co-director then again with Reds.
