"Unsere Vorkriegszeit" ist nicht die Vorkriegszeit von allen gewesen, das weiss ich wohl. Sie ist vor allem diejenige einer kleinen Gruppe von Freunden gewesen, die manchmal weit entfernt von der Zeit waren, in der sie lebten, doch stelle ich mir vor, dass sie durch die Einzelheiten ihrer individuellen Existenzen Gemeinsames haben behalten koennen. Es sind hier keine Vertraulichkeiten, die ich mache, darauf bin ich kaum bedacht: ich mag vielleicht lieber uber meine Kameraden als uber mich selbst reden.
