L'elenco di queste Mitzvot e stato redatto da Mose Maimonide, detto Rambam, nel medioevo. Queste Mitzvot contemplano tutto l'agire della persona. Si va dalle preghiere alle festivita, cosa si puo mangiare e cosa e vietato mangiare. Perche si viene considerati impuri e come ritornare puri. Come i tribunali devono accettare i testimoni e come comportarsi con i confinanti. L'etica ed il comportamento. Il sesso ed il matrimonio. I riti, le offerte ed i sacrifici religiosi. Tutte le Mitzvot sono state confrontate con le relative Sure del Corano, quando presenti. Sono state analizzate comparativamente anche le sette Mitzvot noachite ed il decalogo (i 10 comandamenti) del mondo cristiano. Vengono anche fatti alcuni riferimenti al Codice di Hammurabi. Il piu antico codice civile conosciuto della storia.
