Finlay is probably the most clumsy boy in the universe so it is no surprise when he falls through a magic portal into a land that, as it happens, desperately needs a giant hero to vanquish a rampaging dragon. Now Finlay is not a giant and he is certainly not a hero but he is somewhat taller than the other strange inhabitants of this land and seems to be the answer to their prayers. Nevertheless, all he wants is to get home but this proves to be uncomfortably tricky. This book is a prequel to "Jacob and the Blue Jewel" by the same author.
