Si e da poco concluso il Centenario della vittoria della Grande Guerra (1915-1918). La ricorrenza avrebbe dovuto essere opportunamente impiegata per una revisione critica del conflitto, al di fuori dalla retorica ufficiale che ancora accompagna l'evento bellico. Come spesso accade, le ragioni vere che hanno portato le classi dominanti a dichiarare guerra all'impero austro-ungarico non coincidono con la retorica della propaganda. La riappropriazione delle terre irredente e stata una scusa per nascondere motivazioni ben piu' profonde.
