This book collects the posts of a blog that Chris Clarke maintained from summer 2016 until his death in March 2019, in which he set out to explore the themes of 'Wisdom' and 'Isness'. What he meant by 'isness' is the theme that is expanded throughout the book, but a thing's isness is the essence of what it is for itself.

As his health failed, what became very profound about these reflections is the way he reflected on each moment and experience for itself, searching deeply for the isness of each moment with no quest for a connecting narrative.
