El 25 de octubre de 2017 se publicaba en el Boletin Oficial del Estado la Ley 6/2017, solventando algunas de las deficiencias legislativas que comprometian al sistema de Seguridad Social. Si bien, con esta reforma quedaba latente la falta de aptitud del legislativo para erradicar la totalidad de deficiencias y, peor aun, contribuia a generar una nueva brecha que debera abordar el ya de por si agonizante sistema. Angel Jimenez Polo, tomando el legado de su ultima publicacion (Deficiencias del sistema de Seguridad Social espanol que lo hacen insostenible) vuelve a embarcarse en la misma tematica, dejando al margen lo habitual de sus publicaciones, anteriormente enfocadas en la Segunda Guerra Mundial (La mirada de Christel y Delirio del alma mia), exponiendo en esta nueva publicacion las deficiencias que arrastra la Seguridad Social, mas analizando la repercusion que ha tenido en estas las nuevas politicas recientemente aprobadas.
