Beyonc? Giselle Knowles-Carter, born on September 4th, 1981, Houston, Texas, U.S., is a singer, songwriter, actress, record producer and dancer. Beyonc? performed in singing and dancing competitions as a child while being brought up in Houston. She became famous in the late '90s as lead singer of the R&B girl-band Destiny's Child.
