Since her first collection was published in 1995, Sophie Hannah has been recognized as one of the best young poets on the scene. As the Daily Telegraph put it, ‘Her range is astonishing- most readers will come away having been changed or delighted.’ This second edition of her Selected Poems retains all the poems from the first edition, together with a full selection from her 2007 volume Pessimism for Beginners, which was shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize, and nine recently written and as yet unpublished poems.
