Keeping Advent and Christmas is a day-by-day guide to keeping and understanding the Christian seasons of Advent and Christmas, from ‘Stir Up Sunday’, through the traditions of Christmas and on to the festival of Candlemas on February 2. Each section has a short explanation about the day (Advent Sunday for example), its history, Biblical references, what happens in church, home traditions where they exist and local/regional customs at home and abroad.
