After the loss of his grandmother in 2020, the author spent a lot of time talking with his children about life and death and what might happen after. These are all natural thing to ponder and talk about, but they’re not always brought up. This story starts with two children running around a house looking for their grandma, assuming that she is playing hide and seek. Near the end of the book, the mother comes in and explains to the kids what happened to Grandma, allowing them to have a talk about life and death, much like I did in my personal life with my children. Hopefully this book can be used as an entertaining way to open up that conversation with you and your children.
