Gudridur’s Saga Coloring Book complements the story of Gudridur, the famed woman in the Vinland Sagas who settled in Greenland, then sailed to Vinland with her family after Leif Erikson. Children can color each page of her adventures and also share their own images inspired by her story. With each drawing, they follow Gudridur from her home in Icelands west fjords, see Greenland’s animals, meet her son Snorri who was born in Vinland, and the Native Americans who lived there. After three years, her family returned to Glaumbaer in Iceland’s Skagafjoerdur. When her husband died, Gudridur made a final journey - a pilgrimage to Rome and back.
