Hope and Hunter are two funny, curious Malamutes who live in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. They are always ready for an adventure. One morning they decide to go to the beach, and while they are playing Sid the Squirrel sneaks up and takes Hope’s apple. The chase begins! They chase the squirrel deeper and deeper into the woods and meet many different animals along the way. They get lost and it is getting close to dark. Will Hope ever get her apple back? Will they find their way home?
