This is a book about Laura she is just like her mother with so many things including Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder and Anxiety. Laura also has Tourette’s. As Laura has gotten older her peers and herself have started noticing the ‘differences’. This was upsetting and Laura was feeling very alone. That is how this came to life.

This book is child friendly and acceptance focused. It isn’t clinical or labelling, it is written simply to show the children with differences that there are others like them out there, and to help explain to their peers that despite their behaviours they are not really different from each other.

This book has been made for families with children with various differences and invisible disabilities to show our neurodiverse children no matter what differences they show they not alone, and to help our neurotypical children understand; improving awareness and spread acceptance.

This is a really inclusive book and no matter what ‘branch’ of the ‘Neurodiversi-tree’ you are this book could have something that you connect with.
