The Revolutionary Atlantic: Republican Visions, 1760-1830: A Documentary History is the first book to bring together primary sources on the four major revolutions–American, French, Haitian, and Spanish–that comprised the Age of Atlantic Revolutions. There are primary sourcebooks on all of these revolutions, but never before have documents from all four revolutions been brought together within a single volume so that the revolutionary republican movement can be examined as a whole.
