Principles of Scottish Private Law

This work, part of a four-volume set, deals with rights arising in connection with trusts and succession on death, intestate and testate, and also explores the remedies which may be sought in civil claims by diligence and the problems arising from insolvency. The text has been extensively revised and rearranged, particularly the chapters on diligence, receivers and sequestration. The subject matter is covered systematically in order that different branches of Scottish private law can be related to each other and to the whole as a rational entity.
