After the rainy season, Nelson the baby elephant and his family walk a long way to a place where there is some new grass to eat. There are lots of other elephants there. One morning, Nelson visits a family of large elephants. But when he tries to leave, they won’t let him go ‘ he has been kidnapped! Nelson’s wise old grandmother makes a plan to rescue him.
