If we look at the world around us, we’ll discover that our daily lives are full of symbols that provide directions, warnings and helpful information. Symbols are an important part of traditional cultures, too, and are used to represent rules, values and status. The meaning of some of the graphic symbols we observe in our everyday lives may seem obvious to us - but, sometimes, there are hidden meanings that may not be so readily understood!
