Pearson Reading Strategies – Standalone Access Card

Based on a proven short course taught at Harvard University, this new digital solution prepares all incoming college students for the amount and rigor of their college reading assignments. Students using this interactive digital tool will improve their reading comprehension and speed. They will develop a range of reading strategies they can call on in order to read more purposefully and strategically. They will learn to read a text like a writer.

Your students will expand their repertoire of approaches to reading and develop the flexibility and judgment to choose different approaches to fit their purpose. This brief course can be used in study skills courses or as an added gateway course for all disciplines to help improve college readiness for all students.
