The British Retail Consortium (BRC) has produced guidance for the understanding of how to obtain certification to Issue 5 of the Global Standard for Food Safety and the implementation of individual requirements across all industry sectors. The North American version of the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Interpretation Guideline incorporates US terminology. The content and clauses within the Standard remain the same.
