Gender V1: Love

Gender: Love takes up the question of where and how love is. The chapters collected in this volume track a variety of locations in which feminist and queer scholars have located, as well as critically interrogate, the multiple meanings of love. The volumea s 23 chapters are grouped into 5 themes: interpersonal, self and spirituality, politics of love, histories of love, and love for sale. The volume as a whole covers a wide range of topics, including desire, maternity, revolution, self-love, and social media. Each chapter presents a particular area of feminist and queer study around love, explores current debates in the field of gender and sexuality studies, and poses questions for future research. Chapters are written by eminent scholars, are peer reviewed, include illustrations, and offer bibliographies to encourage further research. The volume concludes with a glossary and a comprehensive index.
