Brand new album from Brisbane-born, London-based singer/producer Jordan Rakei, available June 14th on Ninja Tune via Inertia. On Origin, Rakei has scaled up his ambitions, and is more confident in the way he goes about achieving them. Inspired by dystopian visions of our future, Rakei has made tracks that speak more confidently, in brighter colours, and deal with something bigger than himself. Features the single “Mind’s Eye”, which has been featured on CLASH, Line of Best Fit, Earmilk, and has streamed 2 million + times. Touring nationally in August, playing Brisbane’s The Triffid, Melbourne’s Recital Hall and Sydney’s The Metro. Has previously collaborated with Nightmares On Wax, Loyle Carner, Noah Slee and more.
