The 2018 shortlist for the YA Book Prize has been revealed.
Launched in 2014, the YA Book Prize celebrates great YA books written by authors living in the UK or Ireland, and aims to get more teenagers and young adults reading.

- Things a Bright Girl Can Do by Sally Nicholls
- La Belle Sauvage (The Book of Dust Book 1) by Philip Pullman
- Straight Outta Crongton by Alex Wheatle
The winner of the 2018 YA Book Prize will be announced at a ceremony at the Hay Festival on Thursday 31 May. Find out more about this year’s shortlisted titles here.
