Here are our 10 bestselling CDs from the past year.

A range of talented artists feature in our bestselling music from 2018. Homegrown favourites include acclaimed songwriter Paul Kelly, operatic soprano Greta Bradman and Indigenous Australian musician Gurrumul. International stars include Norwegian jazz pianist Tord Gustavsen, Chinese American cellist Yo-Yo Ma and American multi-instrumentalist Ry Cooder.
Two film soundtracks also feature in the below list: A Star is Born, for which the film’s stars, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, collaborated with an assortment of country musicians; and Bohemian Rhapsody, which features original recordings of Queen.

And, our top selling CD for 2018 is….
Back in 2017, we were deeply saddened by the death of Indigenous musician Gurrumul. Throughout his career, this remarkable musician had blended western musical styles with Australian Indigenous culture to stunning effect. His posthumous album, Djarimirri, was completed just weeks before his passing and it’s our number one selling album of last year.
