The winners of the annual Australian Book Industry Awards (ABIAs) were announced last night and Readings is honoured to have won this year’s Book Retailer of the Year award!
Managing Director Mark Rubbo says: ‘To win this award for the second time is indeed amazing and a wonderful tribute to all my colleagues kept Readings going through the extended periods of lockdown. I see it, too, as an acknowledgement of the efforts of all the wonderful Victorian booksellers to get books to readers throughout last year. Thank you to the Australian Publishers Association for presenting this award and thank you to the judges for selecting us from so many fine entrants.’
Below is a full list of winners from the night. Our congratulations to the winning authors, illustrators, publishers and booksellers.
