Last week saw the arrival of Shaun Tan’s new book: The Singing Bones presents photographs of Tan’s extraordinary sculptures, all of which were created in response to the Brothers Grimm’s fairy tales. See a peek inside here.
Cloudwish, Fiona Wood’s new YA novel, is another bestseller for the past week, having earned itself a stellar reputation here at Readings. Our reviewer calls it a “wonderful, moving story”; our online children’s specialist describes it as “yet another reason to #LoveOzYA”, AND YA author Emily Gale named the YA novel one of her favourites from the last few years.
Other bestsellers include a new hilarious novel by David Walliams (Grandpa’s Great Escape), a new Captain Underpants tale (Captain Underpants and the Sensational Saga of Sir Stinks-A-Lot) and the final book in the much-loved How To Train Your Dragon series (How to Fight a Dragon’s Fury).
