Our top selling title this week is our Children’s Book of the Month, which was launched to great acclaim at Readings Kids on Thursday night. It is a stunning book about the sacrifices parents make for their children and is a charming read-aloud for children aged 4 and up. You can read our rave review here.

The Melbourne Writers Festival primary school sessions last week featured Kirli Saunders, Eddie Woo and Gabrielle Wang. Readings is the bookseller for the festival and the popularity of these author sessions with their young audience is reflected in our bestseller list.

The new Karen McManus young adult thriller dropped this week, appearing at number four in our list, and the third title in the Inheritance Games young adult series has also proved extremely popular with young adult audiences.

Shortlisted titles from the Readings Prize are still selling well, with three titles from the children’s shortlist appearing in the bestseller list this week. You can browse the full Children’s shortlist here.
