Our children’s and YA bestsellers list is full of familiar favourites this week, with many titles, such as How to Make a Movie in Twelve Days, Young Dark Emu and For Whom the Ball Rolls, back for another appearance.
Local YA made a strong showing, with Nina Kenwood’s It Sounded Better in My Head continuing to please, and Wai Chim’s wonderful The Surprising Power of a Good Dumpling selling well. Another interesting trend to notice is the theme of kindness in picture books; the best-selling Kindness Grows and Kind are two great examples.
