At the top of our chart's this week we have the brand new book by young First Nations singer, Isaiah Firebrace. This is a glorious introduction to key concepts all kids should know, including the Dreaming, the Uluru Statement, the Indigenous origins of AFL, and much more. This is a beautifully illustrated and informative book for kids (and their adults) aged 5 and up.

In second place and still going strong is this year's Readings Children's Prize winner. This is a great adventure story set in Far North Queensland perfect for ages 8 and up.

The new middle fiction book by Craig Silvey is still charting well, as well as the beautiful new picture book by Alison Lester and the finance guide for kids by the barefoot investor, Scott Pape.

It's exciting to also see in the charts this week our YA Book of the Month, the debut novel by Melbourne-based author Ann Liang. Its a fun rom-com set at an international school in Beijing. You can read our review here.
