Join us at 11am on Sunday 24 January to hear YA superstar Angie Thomas discuss her writing career and brand-new novel with fellow author Leanne Hall.
Concrete Rose sees Thomas revisit Garden Heights 17 years before the events of her multi award-winning novel, The Hate U Give. This time, she shares the story of Maverick Carter, Starr’s father – in a searing and poignant exploration of Black boyhood and manhood.

YA authors Brigid Kemmerer and Amie Kaufman converse across seas at 12.30pm on Thursday 28 January, to discuss writing for teenagers, other worlds, and Kemmerer’s new novel.
