Sisters in Crime has announced the shortlists for the 2017 Davitt Awards for the best crime books by Australian women. Congratulations to all the shortlisted authors.

The judging panel for 2017 comprises Sisters in Crime national co-convenor, Michaela Lobb; former convenors Jacqui Horwood, Maggie Baron and Sylvia Loader; forensic specialist Debbie Stephen; and our own Readings bookseller and writer, Deborah Crabtree.
The 2017 winners will be announced on Saturday 26 August. Winners will be announced for the above categories as well as for readers’ choice, which is voted by the members of Sisters in Crime Australia.
