This colourful, wordless picture book tells of the surprising love between a chicken and a fox.

When the fox takes off with the chicken on the second page, all the other animals in the forest are thrown into a panic. A desperate chase ensues, but as the pages roll by the reader realises that the chicken is very happy to be in the company of the fox. After a long journey over land and water, the forest animals finally catch up with the renegade couple, only to realise that fox and the chicken are very much in love.

Beatrice Rodriquez’s illustrations are full of movement and expression, and this book will be loved by quirky, imaginative littlies, and adult romantics.
