Izzy and Frank
Katrina Lehman
Izzy loved her island. But most of all, she loved Frank the seagull.
Izzy and Frank spend blue-sky-sunny days and grey-cloud-rainy days roaming and playing by the sea.
But when Izzy has to leave her lighthouse and island life behind to move to the city, she also has to say goodbye to Frank.
The city is crowded and noisy, and Izzy misses the sand and the sea.
Can Izzy find a place for herself in her new home? And will she ever see Frank again?

Izzy and Frank are best buddies and they love exploring the beach on their island home. One sad day Izzy has to move from her beloved home to the city. There she misses the freedom of the natural environment and, of course, Frank.
She can’t seem to fit in to her new home but one day she wakes to find Frank waiting for her, ready to explore the town. Their fun is infectious and others join in and finally Izzy makes new friends. Katrina Lehman and Sophie Beer have created a bright and energetic picture book with lovely alliterative language that kids will adore. For ages 2+.
