Join us for the launch of SEW (Supporting and Empowering Women), a development project that employs HIV+ women in Tanzania. Carry bags are hand-stitched by the women, and will be available for sale at Readings. With a conviction that employment is the best way to relieve poverty and help heavily stigmatized HIV+ women, SEW works to provide these women with meaningful employment. All proceeds return to the women so they can one day launch their own businesses. Come for a drink and hear the story behind SEW and how it has benefitted the women
