Sarah Haghdoosti in conversation
Online
Please note: This is an online event.
We are delighted to invite you to a conversation between the wonderful sassy YA authors Sarah Ayoub and Sara Haghdoosti.
Sara Haghdoosti’s debut novel, Sunburnt Veils, is a ‘love story with a hijabi twist’. It is a smart, funny, character-based exploration of Islamophobia through a heroine who’s the kind of girl who reads at parties, but pushes herself to take a visible stand against racism after a fellow student calls in a bomb threat on her first day of university. This wonderful novel is a rom-com with a political activist edge and a deliciously savvy pop-culture voice.
This event is free to attend but bookings are essential as places are strictly limited.
