Corey White’s debut stand-up comedy show The Cane Toad Effect won best show at the 2014 Sydney Fringe Festival and best newcomer at the 2015 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival. This staggeringly personal story of his experience growing up in foster care, surviving domestic violence, recovering from drug addiction and dealing with mental illness is now his debut book. Barry Award-winning comedian Denise Scott will discuss White’s The Prettiest Horse in the Glue Factory with him at this special event.
