Join us to celebrate the launch of Amanda Anastasi's Taking Apart the Bird Trap.

Taking Apart the Bird Trap is set in a residential-industrial suburb in Melbourne’s west. Opening with the sudden loss of a father, we are provided a glimpse into the first and second generation migrant experience, the restlessness of domestic dysfunction, the transformative power of grief, and the defiance of love.

The book will be launched by poet and novelist Joel Deane, with special guest poets Manisha Anjali, Angela Costi and Magan Magan.

Free, but bookings are essential.
