Join us to celebrate the launch of Songs for the Dead and the Living by Sara M Saleh, an Arab-Australian human rights activist, organiser, writer and poet.

Saleh will be in conversation with award-winning author Michael Mohammed Ahmad, and the night will feature a special performance from Australian-Palestinian writer and educator Micaela Sahhar.

Songs for the Dead and the Living is an intergenerational novel following a Palestinian family that ends up in Western Sydney. This extraordinary novel offers a breathtaking portrait of the fragilities and flaws of family in the wake of war.
